PTE學術英語考試是甚麼 ?

What is PTE Academic ?

PTE學術英語考試 (全名：Pearson Test of English Academic，簡稱PTE/PTE Academic），是由金融時報的母公司英國培生集團以及GMAT的開發機構管理專業研究生入學考試委員會（GMAC）共同研究主辦，並在2009年10月26日推出的新一代的國際性英語水平測試，隨著時代的演進，全世界主要的英文能力檢定不再只有托福和雅思，PTE也逐漸嶄露頭角，已經在世界各地50 多個國家，超過 250 個考試中心，共約900多個機構承認PTE成績。

雖然PTE主要為學術考試，但在全球約32個國家 (如：英、美、澳、加、紐..等)在移民政策的部分，也會承認PTE考試成績作為英文能力門檻。

考試包含三個部分：

第一部分：口語與寫作（77 - 93 分鐘）
第二部分：閱讀（32 - 41 分鐘）
第三部分：聽力（45 - 57 分鐘）
